A little bit about me… I have a passion for travel and have journeyed to many far-flung destinations, including Dubai, Maldives, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, South Japan, Antigua, Iceland, Las Vegas, Florida, Miami, San Francisco, New York City, Italy, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Austria, Switzerland, Bruges and Holland.
I’ve also got a long list of places to visit, including venturing to the other side of the world and experiencing Australia, (including its great barrier reef, the bold and majestic Uluru (or Ayers Rock) in the outback and cuddling a Koala!) Last but not least I would love to visit New Zealand, seeing the wilderness forests, pristine lakes, the jagged mountain peaks of the Milford Sound and experiencing a glacier landing by helicopter.
I love sharing travel knowledge and experiences with like-minded people and decided to join Baldwin’s Travel in 2018. In my spare time I love to socialise with friends and family, host dinner parties, go to the theatre and experience the great outdoors.
My 3 favourite destination so far are;
Where next? Everywhere left in the world that I haven’t yet explored is on my wish-list, but top of this list is an exploring tour in Costa Rica’s rainforest to see the flora and fauna of its ecosystem. and a safari in Africa to see the big five along with a hot-air-balloon ride over the Masi-Mara.
My top travel tip would be to always take a spare set of clothes and swimwear in your hand luggage. As that way, if your suitcase is lost or delayed, you can carry on with your travels and ventures.
I never travel without a camera.
My dream destination would be Antarctica.
My travel superpower would be to time travel……save on all those hours spent on a plane!
My best holiday so far is when I twinned the Maldives with Dubai to celebrate my 30th birthday. The moment you step out of the sea-plane, barefoot island life awaits. The à la carte dining was scrumptious and I had the most amazing overwater pool villa, which enjoyed uninterrupted views of the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean. The sunsets were beautiful and the abundance of underwater life is mesmerising! Then to finish off the holiday with a huge contrast of the dazzling city lights of Dubai, far-reaching views at the top of the Burj Khalifa, dune-bashing in the desert and dining under the stars. Memories to last forever!
